This program is an introduction to the basics of French language for kids starting Gr1 French Immersion in September. 

 

• Purpose: It helps young students to develop French language awareness, as they learn to associate French words with everyday objects and situations. Students build confidence which alleviates anxiety for both parents and students when school starts in September. Their readiness contributes to a great start of the school year.

• Geared towards:

  • Students hoping to start a French Immersion program. This program teaches the alphabet, everyday vocabulary, high-frequency sentences etc. This helps students transition smoothly into French Immersion Programs.

  • Students that already have a basic level of French comprehension and oral communication skills. The program will focus on the consolidation of those skills and introduction of leadership skills, role model, structured environment of the classroom in public school.
